Everyone talks about building a business nowadays. Don't believe in overnight success. Get rich slowly. Enjoy the journey. There is only one problem though. You really need to make money quickly. What if I tell you, you can get the best from both worlds?

Now, don't get me wrong. I don't mean that you should exploit the latest search engine loophole. I don't mean that you should spam people or do anything unethical. If you know me, I'm all for building a scalable business. Do the right thing, and build something that last.

Here's the problem with most beginners though. They don't have a year or two learning and working without anything in return. Some people think there is no choice but to create junk content with massive content generation tool. After all, that saves them time, so that should work better than anything else.

Others insist on a business, so they keep their day job and work their you know what off, even it took years before they finally able to quit their job. This was my preference a few years ago. People need to play safe especially if they have a family to feed.

The good news is, nowadays, if you really are a go getter, you could take the shortest path and build the foundation of your affiliate business in a few short months. Models are available that allow you to test market quickly and make your first hundred dollar in the first week, even if you are just getting started.

Your result may vary but it boils down to understanding the principle of business. Why people buy. Instead of going out and selling your product to random people, you can go to a dessert and offer fresh water. That's an extreme example but you know what I mean.

Affiliate marketing is an ideal way to start because you can take the plunge into any market easily and quickly by selling other people's product. That would have saved you a few months, or even years, of time creating the product from the get go.

Business loves speed. While you are strategic and focus on long term growth of your business, having cash flow for most business is the first priority. You may think this is common sense, but unfortunately, it is not common practice.

Be strategic even if you execute at a tactical level. That is the only way you can survive in this online world nowadays.
